Ali Bell
Ali handles intellectual property matters and business transactions, typically with an IP component. Her clients value her focus on practical guidance that aligns with the client’s mission and business priorities. She helps protect valuable IP assets, including securing ownership, obtaining federal trademark and copyright registrations, negotiating favorable IP terms in agreements, and licensing IP to or from third parties. She regularly enforces her clients’ copyright and trademark rights against infringers, and uses tools gained over more than a decade of experience to address infringement and resolve IP disputes outside of court.
Ali routinely handles matters related to video games, websites, mobile platforms, social networks, music, merchandise, and visual art. Her experience includes preparing and negotiating licenses, development and service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, vendor contracts, and most other agreements encountered in the course of doing business.
Ali also assists with issues related to clients’ online presence, such as Digital Millennium Copyright Act compliance, domain name disputes, and development of website policies, including terms of use and privacy policies.
Before Wildwood, Ali was a partner at Miller Nash Graham & Dunn, where she led the Intellectual Property team. Ali is a former opera singer and enthusiastic, if mediocre, gardener. When she’s not helping her clients with their legal matters, she can be found playing with her two daughters, doing crossword puzzles, or chasing the squirrels out of her strawberries.
Ali has been recognized by Oregon SuperLawyers as a Rising Star.
